St. Anselm’s 36th annual Festival of Fun takes place on Saturday, May 19, from 10 am to 8 pm
Join us for this great event! St. Anselm’s 36th annual Festival of Fun takes place on Saturday, May 19, from 10 am to 8 pm. This fun-filled day delights 1,200+ Marin and Ross Valley families with over 25 attractions: carnival rides, prize games (cake wheel, pick-a-pop, salami toss, and more), jumpy houses and slides, music, a café, strolling entertainers, face painting, and more. Admission is free, and tickets are purchased for rides and games.
The pie-eating contest will now start at 1:30 pm, right in the center of the festival.
Texas Sally–showcasing her stunts on stilts–will perform starting at 11 am and then later in the afternoon, at 6 pm. She’ll be sporting an LED-lighted costume for her evening walk-around show.
The Mark and Dre Show–comedy entertainers–will perform starting at 1 pm as duo stilt walkers and then 2:30 pm. in a juggling performance and workshop. You can learn how to throw the clubs and juggle!
Musical highlights on the center stage: back by popular demand, the Lardner family will perform starting at 2:30 pm; the Patrick Winningham Band headlines with rock n’ roll at 5 pm; and then the Festival closes with the Glenwood Garage Band, a horn-backed, rock, R & B and soul ensemble, covering artists from Adele to Tower of Power.
