I love my job as principal of St. Anselm School! I get to spend my day with wonderful students and be a part of an outstanding community. My favorite part of St. Anselm School is the love that everybody has for one another. When someone is sick or going through a hardship, the community bands together to help one another.

I enjoy being a resource teacher because it provides me the opportunity to assist students who experience learning in different ways. What I like best about teaching at Saint Anselm School are my colleagues. We have a faculty that supports, encourages and collaborates with each other to ensure student success.

Supporting children to learn the love of reading is incredibly gratifying and rewarding. Joining St Anselm School, I immediately felt a warm welcome by all. I am thrilled to be returning to this lovely community.

Office Manager | Mrs. Lindsy Ward

Minor in Business Administration

My favorite thing about working at St. Anselm is being the first person to greet the students every morning when they pass by the front office! Seeing their bright and eager faces is the best way to start the day!
St. Anselm is a strong, supportive, and loving community. When I announced that I was expecting my first child, I was overwhelmed by the outpouring of love from all of the parents and students. I am grateful to call this my “workplace.” It feels much more like an extended family.

Office Assistant | Mrs. Amy Tarantino
Business Administration – University of San Diego

I love working in the office because I enjoy interacting with our wonderful parents and staff as well as seeing our kiddos when they visit us in the office for bandaids and ice packs. It’s the best of both worlds!
My favorite St. Anselm memory is watching my 8th grade daughters perform in their 8th grade plays alongside their friends. It is such a nice culmination of nine years together as a class.

Office Assistant | Mrs. Nicole Waterman
“It is such a joy to work alongside such a gifted and caring staff here at St. Anselm School. I
have also enjoyed getting to know the wonderful children and their families. What a blessing
to be a part of such a great community!”

Extended Care – Ms. Karel Daniels
I am the 3rd grade instructional aide and Director of the Extended Day program at St. Anselm School. I have aided in 2nd and 5th grades, but have found my home in 3rd. As Director of the Extended Day program, I am fortunate to be able to interact with students from all grades. Attending Extended Day allows students to play with children from other grades, developing a sense of community. With committed and caring teachers and staff, and a positive and nurturing climate, St. Anselm is truly an exceptional educational environment.

IT Manager – Mr. Felipe Dunn
Graduated from University of California at San Diego with a degree in Visual Arts. Over fifteen years experience working in the fields of education and technology. Taught as Technology Integration Specialist with grades K-8, worked as network administrator, two years as a Fourth Grade classroom teacher, as well as Director of Technology and IT Manager.

My Professional Objective: To guarantee a high quality, innovative and dynamic environment, central to meeting the needs of technology development in education and small business. Continued leadership with technology in an educational setting, and to be on the cutting edge of where technology is today. The St. Anselm School Community has always been welcoming, and genuinely supportive of all us educators with positive feedback, and compliments.
